A Collective Need
The Lord touched a need on Sunday. From the sounds of it the need was widespread, but the Lord graciously spread His grace widely to us all.
We all get tired and drained. We all experience times where we feel disconnected. There are times when we feel distant from God, where we feel our prayers are hitting the ground with a crashing thud.
Our typical reactions are often the wrong reactions; further distance, blame anybody and everybody, dismay, and fear. But God asks us to trust, to seek Him out, to ask for Him for help, to ask Him for refreshing. Pray, Read His Word, Worship, Service, and Fellowship.
Our great need is for the Holy Spirit to minister His care to our need.
A lesson learned for the next moment of dryness is to turn quickly to His care and cry out for His help.
On Sunday we asked, Luke 11:13.
What an outpouring we received. The Holy Spirit’s love is so readily available to us. He proved it once again.
Thank you for responding to His invitation.
It is exciting to see believer’s respond to the call of their Lord. I can’t wait to hear your stories. I can’t wait for next Sunday.
God is moving and ministering. Respond. Encourage each other. Speak of His love.
